Gotta Love Flight Delays
Well here I am. All set to get started on my big adventure and instead I’m stuck here at LAX. Still I’m not terribly put out.
Thing about traveling, if you try to make your trip actually look like your plans for it you will be miserable. I find myself a lot happier when I’ve decided to just enjoy all the situations that traveling puts me in. I think that’s the only way I have any hope of not going insane over the next few months
So I’m here reflecting on my stops so far.
In the last few weeks I’ve been to Denver, El Paso, LA, Sacramento, Santa Cruz and San Francisco. Took a lot of pics, but didn’t do much writing. Gotta fix that. My next hop is to South America. Up until now I’ve really been concentrating on spending time with all my favorite people here in the states. I’ve actually seen in a month an amazing number of the people that really count in my life.——Denver had a ton of my swing friends from around the country, including people like Mihai, Kermit, Michelle, Ruby, Miranda, Ellie, Devona and Josh. I also got a chance to hang out with Diana, one of my awesomest cousins
El Paso had my family – Mom, Ceci, Stepdad, Javi, Dad, and Nathan
LA (the first time) had Deb. Sweet Deb. And Shadow.
Sacramento had Erin…yeah…we like Sacramento. And new people that are rad, Erin’s parents, and he Uncle Chris, Aunt Gale, and cousin, Josh (and Scooby, who has WAY too much energy)
Santa Cruz had Shira, her parents, Gus & Wilma, brother, Neeli, and her fiancé, Sage. And of COURSE, Savannah.
San Francisco had a some dancers that hadn’t been in Denver especially Liz, Andrew, Nicole, and Heather as well as Mihai, Kermit, Mirabai, etc.
LA (the second time) had Dan the bestest cousin in the whole wide world. Some burning man peeps, Dean and Gentry. I also got to see some more of the Fresquez clan, Eddie & Rosaura, Alejandro, and of course Nesto and his new family including my newest cousin, his daughter. So CUTE
