		<description>I&#039;ve heard those four steps applied to learning, but more from a re-learning perspective.  i.e. the student is unconsciously competent in developing Java code, but needs to make themselves become consciously incompetent to learn to develop Java in TDD way (for example).  Dan North explains it much better than I just did (as always).</description>

		<description>There is another level that is skipped here.

Some event must happen between Unconscious Incompetence and Conscious Incompetence to inform one of their incompetance.  When this happens you don&#039;t have to move to Conscious Incompetence instead you can become Intentionally Incompetant.</description>
